About Ogline Design

Ogline Design has served a clientele that has included Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell (notably the 2003 and 2007 Gubernatorial Inaugural Celebrations), the Crossroads of the American Revolution Association, Historic Philadelphia, The White House, Group Inc, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the National Governors Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern Pennsylvania, Albright College, Florida Tourism, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Damon’s Grill, SmithKline Beecham and many more with creative solutions that have ranged from identity design to publication design to website development.

Meet Tim Ogline

Tim Ogline is committed to his craft with a two decade history of producing smart creative to bolster brands—or build them—in service to his clientele. Ogline has added new competencies to his skill set with the recent completion of his MBA from Temple University‘s Fox School of Business. Also, Ogline has been an educator as well… having been a faculty member in the Graphic Design and Illustration Departments at Moore College of Art & Design and also at Temple University‘s Tyler School of Art in the past.

Ogline‘s illustration work has won a number of awards—including a Graphis Gold Award—and
has been appeared in a variety of publications including The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Wall Street Journal, the Utne Reader, Outdoor Life, This Old House Magazine, Institutional Investor, Mensa Bulletin, Philadelphia Style, Loyola Lawyer, How Magazine, and The Florida Review among others. His work has been featured in Illustration Served and a collection of pieces is also available for licensing exclusively from Illustration Source.

Ogline is also the author/artist/designer of Ben Franklin For Beginners (currently in its third printing). Ben Franklin For Beginners, published by For Beginners and distributed by Red Wheel/Weiser, is a nonlinear YA oriented biography of Ben Franklin that discusses his life in topic oriented, richly illustrated chapters that detail Franklin’s achievements in numerous areas. The book has been called “beguiling” by Pulitzer prize-winner Joseph J. Ellis and “a must read” by Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell as well as “nothing short of totally brilliant” by Geekadelphia.com.
